Although I once believed that being a soldier was hard, this man is incredibly difficult! Expert McGill enjoys the unpleasant satisfaction of being killed, sometimes very gruesomely. This story is very interesting and McGill gets a lot of attention. He puts himself in many situations where he shouldn’t, yet is fortunate enough to find a way to get out of it without getting eliminated. Because he is a big gun, he can take the lead most of the time. He manages to do well in this position, even though it isn’t the best.
The story is acceptable, I think. The story was slightly different because the intended adversaries were not easy to eliminate and assault. There are still some poor aliens to be eliminated. Fantastic writing, and a great tale.
I hope the series continues. I’ll be buying them as quickly as they are written. Reserve 2 copies of this wonderful collection. This was the second book I read after having finished the first. It attracted me, kept me entertained, made me long for more. Isn’t that what you expect from a light reading publication.
